Today we are excited to announce that we have a major upgrade to our color dice, monyun dice and perya dice rollers: Verification!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Many users have contacted us over the last few weeks telling us that they use Online-Dice.com because they trust our dice rolling results to be genuine. Unfortunately, we also recently learned some unscrupulous actors have been using malicious browser extensions to abuse our website, manipulate dice roll outcomes and effectively cheat other players on livestreams.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
To resolve this issue we have introduced public result IDs and verification.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
From now on each dice roll comes with its own unique public result ID, which you can find below the “Roll Again!” button after each roll. You can use this ID number to verify whether a dice roll has been manipulated or not.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
If you see a public result ID on a livestream then you can verify the results to be true by simply heading over to https:\/\/www.online-dice.com\/verify\/<\/a> on your OWN device and then entering the public result ID you saw.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Important:<\/strong> do not trust a livestreamer to do this for you, as they could manipulate the verification process. Do it on your OWN device.<\/p>\n\n\n\n After entering and checking the public result ID, if the resulting color dice shown agree with what you saw on someone else’s computer during a livestream, then the dice roll is valid.<\/p>\n\n\n\n But if the colors are different, then you know that the livestreamer manipulated the dice and therefore cheated.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Tip: <\/strong>Always demand to see the public result ID, otherwise you cannot verify the outcome to be genuine.
